Ricardo Lopez Jaime

After a tremendously long and very aggressive stage IV Colon Cancer Ricardo Lopez Jaime died on March 16, 2023. He died with his loving wife and other family members by his side. Ricardo leaves behind his wife Mayra Cortes; their son's Fransisco Javier Lopez, Juan Jose Lopez, and their daughter Alexa Daleyza Lopez. Ricardo was born on March 12, 1991 in Yurécuaro Michoacan, Mexico, to his Father Ricardo Lopez Mendez and Mother Marisela Jaime. He grew up in his dear community of Mirandillas with his three sisters, Jessica, Lizeth, and Belen Lopez. Where he learned how to work the land. He grew up with an enormous love for his community and the outdoors. His love for working outdoors is what later in life brought him to work as a landscaper for Desiderio Landscaping. Ricardo married Mayra Cortes in Michoacan, Mexico in December 2007. He came to the United States in 2017, and made Chicago Heights his new home. Where he happily lived with his wife and children until his passing. Although he missed and loved Mirandillas he made a new life here. Making many new friends along the way. He was a very friendly and loving person. He was full of life and enjoyed spending his free time with family and loved being with his kids. His children meant the world to him! He was a loving Husband, Father, and Son. He will forever remain in our hearts.

Arrangements entrusted to Olen Funeral Home of Harvey: 15700 S. Emerald Ave., Harvey, Illinois 60426. Visitation will be on Sunday, March 26, 2023 from 3 pm until 8 pm. Funeral Service Monday, March 27, 2023 at St. Kieran Church, 724 195th St. Chicago Heights, Illinois from 10 am until 11 am. Funeral Mass 11 am. Interment to follow at Assumption Cemetery, Glenwood, Illinois.

Después de un Cáncer de Colon en etapa IV tremendamente largo y muy agresivo, Ricardo López Jaime murió el 16 de marzo de 2023. Murió con su amada esposa y otros familiares a su lado. Ricardo deja atrás a su esposa Mayra Cortés; sus hijos Francisco Javier López, Juan José López y su hija Alexa Daleyza López. Ricardo, nació el 12 de marzo de 1991 en Yurécuaro Michoacán, México, de su padre Ricardo López Méndez y su madre Marisela Jaime. Creció en su querida comunidad de Mirandillas con sus tres hermanas, Jessica, Lizeth y Belén López. Donde aprendió a trabajar la tierra. Creció con un enorme amor por su comunidad y el aire libre. Su amor por trabajar al aire libre es lo que más tarde lo llevó a trabajar como paisajista para Desiderio Landscaping.   Ricardo se casó con Mayra Cortés en Michoacán, México en diciembre de 2007. Llegó a los Estados Unidos en 2017 e hizo de Chicago Heights su nuevo hogar. Donde vivió felizmente con su esposa e hijos hasta su fallecimiento. Aunque extrañaba y amaba a Mirandillas, aquí hizo una nueva vida. Haciendo muchos nuevos amigos en el camino. Era una persona muy amable, cariñosa. Estaba lleno de vida y disfrutaba pasar su tiempo libre con la familia y le encantaba estar con sus hijos. ¡Sus hijos significaban el mundo para él! Fue un amoroso esposo, padre e hijo. Él permanecerá por siempre en nuestros corazones.
