Miał tez duży sentyment do dawnej ojczyzny ale również był wdzięczny swojej drugiej ojczyźnie za wolność i demokracje.

Czesław ( Chester ) Motyka , 92, was born in Poland and died on 17 November 2022 in Harvey IL surrounded by his immediate family. Chester was a technician by profession and worked in this profession throughout his professional life. His hobby was the garden and particularly the tomato industry. Chester was a man of great kindness, of great heart. He never spared the love of his already deceased wife Mary, nor the children, Margaret and Andrew, nor the grandchildren of Alice, Agatha Bartosz and Tom and great-grandchildren Jannes, Nina and Neli. He also had a strong affection for his former homeland, but was also grateful to his second homeland for freedom and democracy.

Arrangements entrusted to Olen Funeral Home of Harvey: 15700 S. Emerald Ave., Harvey, IL 60426. Visitation for Czestaw will be on Tuesday, November 22, 2022 from 1:00 pm until 6:00 pm. Funeral Service Wednesday, November 23, 2022 from 8:30 am until 9:30 am. Prayers from chapel at 9:30 am for 10:00 am Funeral Mass at St. John the Baptist Church of Harvey. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery of Calumet City.
