Robert L. Veile 95 of Harvey, IL formerly of Homewood, IL passed away on December 1,2020. Robert was born on December 20,1924 to Florence and Leo Veile in Chicago,Il. He served in the Army Air Corp during World War II. He married his high school sweetheart Stella Ladniak in 1944 and they were married for over 50 years before she preceded him in death in 1996. They had four children Janet Anselmo, David, Pamela Sulej (Dennis) and Sandra Grabinski (David). He had two siblings Marie and Ray who preceded him in death. He was a carpenter by trade with Local 434 for over 65 years. He was a devout Catholic of St. John the Baptist Church and a member of the Holy Name Society. He had seven grandchildren with granddaughter Stephanie preceding him in death this year. He also had seventeen great grandchildren. He was uncle to many nieces and nephews. He loved cowboy and World War II movies and his favorite soap opera All My Children. He really had a wonderful life just like his favorite Christmas movie. He will be greatly missed by many.
