Richard E. Wajda, age 88, formerly of Riverdale and Harvey, Illinois passed away on March 6, 2024 at the Crestwood Rehabilitation Center.  Richard was born on July 29, 1935 to his parents, Walter and Angeline (Kaminski) Wajda.  He was preceded in death by his siblings, Walter (Sylvia) and Raymond (Pat).  He is survived by many nieces and nephews.  Richard was a United States Army veteran and worked as a maintenance man for many years at the Camden Courts in the Beverly area of Chicago.

Arrangements entrusted to Olen Funeral Home of Harvey 15700 S. Emerald Ave., Harvey, IL. A Memorial Service and Burial were held on March 21 at Holy Cross Cemetery, Calumet City, IL.
