Miguel Salazar passed away on September 9th, 2020 in Harvey, IL. Miguel Salazar was born in Michoacán Mexico on September 15, 1945.  Miguel was a caring husband, cherished father, and loved grandfather.  He passed away on September 9th, 2020 after a severe infection took a toll on his body. He was married to Juana Salazar, she went with God on September 10th, 2018. He is survived by his three children, Miguel and wife Esperanza, Marcela and husband Ismael, Juan, and 5 grandchildren: Christian, Caleb, Victoria, Miguel, and Mauricio.

Visitation for Miguel will be held on Sunday, September 13th, 2020 from 3 PM until 8 PM at the Olen Mortuary of Harvey: 15700 Emerald ave, Harvey IL 60426 (708-331-0654). Funeral Services will be held on Monday, September 14th, 2020 from 8:30 AM until 9:30 AM. Prayers from Chapel at 9:30 AM for 10 AM Funeral Mass at St Johns the Baptist Catholic Church at 15746 Union Ave, Harvey IL 60426 with Father Edward Romanski Officiating. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery at 801 Michigan City Rd, Calumet City, IL  60409.
