Larry J Wrobel, age 83 United States Army veteran and longtime resident of Harvey Illinois passed away peacefully on May 13 2023 at Ingalls memorial hospital. Larry is survived by his sister, Carole Rutkowski, and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Anna Wrobel and his siblings. Ted, Phil, John, Walter, and Mitchell. He was a member of Saint John, the Baptist church in Harvey, a volunteer fireman in East, Hazel crest, and retired from enterprise wire in blue Island.  He was a member of the American Legion in Thornton and enjoyed meeting his friends there. He was most happy when he fished and hunted with his buddies in southern Illinois
