Anthony T. Barnes Sr. 65 of Chicago, IL passed away with his family by his side on August 25, 2017 at the Methodist Southlake Hospital in Merrillville, IN. Anthony was born in Chicago on January 10, 1952, he attended and graduated from Parker High School. He worked as a security guard for Chicago Public Schools and was also a producer, musician, and a professional guitarist which was his life calling. Beloved son of late Isaac Carey and late Carolyn Barnes, loving father of Vicky (Nakia) Trigg-Fields and Anthony Barnes Jr., cherished grandfather of Frank Coleman, Monet Coleman, Ahmar Bailey, Naomi Fields, Antionette Barnes and Anthony Barnes III, dearest great-grandfather of Elijah King Coleman and Ezra King Coleman. Loving ex-husband of Darcell Taylor, fond nephew of Ilean McCarroll, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
